Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was located 2km away from the center, and although my room faced a less desirable view, the sleeping quality was satisfactory. The ambiance was reminiscent of a Cold War room in Russia, which added a unique touch to the stay.
The hotel offers affordable rates with a big, very comfortable bed in a clean bathroom. However, the room was still wet and very humid, even though it was meant for 2 people but only used by 1 person. The cheap blankets were a downside.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were very spacious, quiet, and spotless, but unfortunately had no coffee machine or extra bathroom amenities. The environment felt a bit wet and humid, yet overall, it was very clean.
Staying at this hotel felt like being transported to a Cold War room in Russia, with a not-so-pleasant smell to match. If you fancy views of building sites and hiking in the city, this might be your spot. The distant city center is a trek away but provides a downhill journey back, offering a unique view of a dried-up river and an empty promenade.
The hotel provided a very clean and comfy room with a nice river view, but was missing a few essentials like water, kettle, and coffee/tea. The service was extremely helpful and friendly, although some staff members needed more training. The location was surprisingly good, close to the center and the highway but not within walking distance to the town. The dining experience was very tasty, especially the home-made ice cream, although could be more affordable. Overall, a pleasant stay with minor room niggles and training needed for the staff.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel with a comfortable room and great service. The convenient location near the city center was a big plus, but the dining options could be improved. Overall, it offered good value for money.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, offering a view of a dried-up river and an empty promenade, but the setup felt more like a single occupancy room in a Cold War-era Russian building. The location, though quiet and pleasant by the river, was far from the city center and the nearest Metro station. The service was friendly and helpful, although information was only provided upon request. The dining experience was exceptional, with a unique breakfast spread and delightful homemade Belgian waffles.
The room had a lovely view and was a good size for 3 persons with a scenic view over the city. However, the room felt more like a 3-star experience with scratched parquet instead of a comfortable carpet, beds on wheels that moved every time you sat up to watch TV, no water heater for tea or coffee, shower water fluctuating from cold to hot suddenly, and issues with the room key.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, although not as high quality as they appeared in the pictures, offered a lovely view of a dried-up river and an empty promenade. However, being located next to the cleaners' room led to disturbances from their morning chats and the adjacent central heating unit. The staff were amazingly friendly and extremely helpful, providing great suggestions for sightseeing. The location, while far from the center, was ideal for exploring the west side of Madrid. The dining experience was not the best, with slow service affecting the overall enjoyment. Overall, it was a decent stay with some highs and lows.
The hotel offers a comfortable stay with a great bathroom, a big TV, and, of course, a very comfortable bed. Although the room was meant for two persons, it was only used by one during my stay. The rates were affordable, but some blankets seemed a bit cheap.
My stay at the hotel was overall satisfying. The room was comfortable and well-equipped; however, the absence of a kettle was a significant inconvenience. The service was a mix of rude encounters and friendly assistance. Although the location was not ideal for walking to central Madrid, it was convenient for those with cars.
Although the hotel room lacked soundproofing, leading to disturbances from nearby noises, the river view made up for the 'backside' location. The service was excellent, with helpful staff ensuring the return of lost items. While the location wasn't ideal for quick city access, being close to the football stadium was a plus. The dining experience was outstanding, well-organized, and the best encountered in Spain.
